Our Story
In early 2023, Sam Keller and his son, Kaz, began hosting hands-on workshops around their dining room table to help people understand generative AI as it emerged through ChatGPT.
What began as neighborhood sessions quickly expanded to their local community center.
The workshops then expanded to small businesses.
The workshops eventually expanded to larger organizations seeking to build AI fluency within their teams.
As demand grew, the team expanded to include technologists, educators, and AI specialists. Gen AI Academy worked with CEOs, leadership teams, and entire workforces. To date, its programs have trained thousands of professionals. Gen AI Academy’s programs have trained more than 700 CEOs. Among the trained CEOs are leaders of globally recognized companies.
Today, Gen AI Academy creates hands-on learning experiences. These experiences help leaders integrate AI into strategy, culture, and daily work. These sessions are designed to shift mindsets. These sessions are designed to build practical skills. These sessions are designed to foster alignment. The approach draws on the same origin as the approach that began around a kitchen table. The workshops now reach leaders across industries, sectors, and continents.
